Chemise is the French term and Shift is the English term for the women’s basic main undergarment. This is the all-purpose garment. The common, working, middle class women used on for day and night. Wealthier women may have used one for day and a clean one for evening. The women would have several chemises in their wardrobe.
Self Ruffle Lace Ruffle
Our chemise is a loose fitting garment.
They are mid thigh in length. ( Or can be made to be full length and short length )
They have a ribbon gathered neckline consisting of plain, fabric ruffled, or lace.
The ribbon gathered sleeves are ¾ length or full arm length. They consist of fabric ruffled, or lace gathers.
They come in small, medium, large and x-large.

100% Cotton Flannel in Rose, Yellow, Dark Red, Hunter Green, Navy
