Most of the Rendezvousers and Re-enactors of today focus their style's on the common, working, middle class of the time period.
Basic, essential everyday clothing is our focus here. Our hope is to give you an idea of what items you need for a basic wardrobe representative of the time period.
Knee Breeches (Men’s Short Pants)
Knee Breeches are men’s short pants. They come in the Button Fly or French Fly, buttons up a center fly, or Drop Front / Broad Fall have a front flap which is in the front and buttoned to the waist. Knee Breeches length is usually 1” to 2” below the knee. They have a vent, at the bottom hem, which is closed with buttons.
Lead Free Pewter Buttons and Black Buttons Hide Away Pockets. Perfect for Buckskinners and Re-enactors of the mid to late 1700’s
Our Knee Breeches are full cut. They have ample room.
All our Breeches have working pockets
They come in Button Fly / French Fly closure or Drop Front / Broad Fall.
The length is usually 1” to 2” below the knee.
